Job Title: Senior Product Analyst - Personal Lines
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

They are seeking a skilled (Senior) Product Analyst to join their dynamic team in Boston, MA. Job Overview: As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the development, enhancement, and performance of our client's personal lines insurance products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, evaluate product performance, and provide actionable insights to optimize product offerings and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth analysis of personal lines products, including market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback. Develop strategies to enhance product offerings and identify growth opportunities.
  • Data Management: Utilize data analytics tools to gather, interpret, and present data related to product performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product managers and development teams to define product requirements, create business cases, and support the product development lifecycle. Provide insights to guide product design and feature enhancements.
  • Market Research: Perform market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Use research findings to recommend product improvements and innovations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, pricing, and marketing teams, to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance against benchmarks. Identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPCU) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in product analysis, preferably within the personal lines insurance sector. Proven track record of working with insurance products and understanding of the P&C insurance industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and experience with product management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner.
Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
