Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team at Promed Staffing Resources. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body.

Key Responsibilities
• Position patients on the examining table and place specified coils close to the area of interest, following protocols requested by radiologists.
• Demonstrate the use of a microphone to facilitate communication between patients and technologists during examinations.
• Enter patient history, anatomical areas to be scanned, orientation, and position of entry into the aperture of MRI equipment into the computer.
• Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into the computer.
• Observe patients through the window of the control room and on closed-circuit TV to monitor safety and comfort.
• View images of areas being scanned on the video display screen to ensure quality of pictures.
• Key in data on the keyboard of the camera to photograph images.
• Alert staff entering the magnet room to the danger of wearing or carrying metal around the magnet.

Requirements
• Experience with Siemens equipment and software platform XA51.
• IV certification and experience.
• Self-driven and motivated technologist.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.

Working Conditions
• The MRI Imaging Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple patients and exams per day.
• The specialist will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the MRI department.
• The specialist will be required to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in producing high-quality images.
