Pool Attendant

Job Summary

The Pool Attendant is a key member of the Highgate Hotels team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of pool areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the pool and surrounding areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Provide responsive and courteous service to guests, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
• Assist with the replenishment of towels, retail amenities, and other supplies as needed.
• Participate in opening and closing side-work to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services and amenities to make informed recommendations to guests.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field is required.
• Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
