Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Parallel LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of our senior living facilities run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to requests and concerns from residents, family members, and team members
• Maintain the HVAC system to ensure proper air quality and comfortable temperatures
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Assist with move-ins and move-outs, and prepare rooms for new residents
• Complete miscellaneous tasks related to the visual appearance and upkeep of the property
• Maintain the grounds, including collecting trash and sweeping dumpster areas
• Review daily logs and maintenance records
• Communicate effectively with the Executive Director and other team members

Requirements:

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance
• Knowledge of OSHA and life safety regulations
• Ability to multi-task, work politely with senior residents, and troubleshoot problems
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass a criminal background check

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for entire shift
• May be subject to callback during emergency conditions
