Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at Tufts Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide exceptional pharmacy-related services in a hospital or retail setting, working under the general supervision of a pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pharmacy Services: Prepare and dispense pharmaceuticals, maintain inventory, and perform compliance audits.
  2. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer phone calls, and assist with point-of-sale transactions.
  3. Inventory Management: Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and inspecting medication and supplies.
  4. Quality Control: Maintain accurate records, complete quality control paperwork, and perform cycle counts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  • Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration.
  • One year of pharmacy-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree.
  • Two years of pharmacy-related experience in a hospital setting.
