Job Summary

The role of the Behavior Technician at Proven Behavior Solutions, LLC involves providing 1:1 direct services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder in various settings. The successful candidate will work under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing teaching plans and programs developed by the supervising BCBA
• Working directly with clients to deliver Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environmental Teaching (NET)
• Collecting data for each goal/objective during sessions or as frequently as defined in the ABA treatment plan
• Following behavior plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
• Acting as an ambassador for Proven Behavior Solutions and the industry, maintaining a professional and cooperative relationship with client's caregiver(s)

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Social Work, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field preferred
• At least two years cumulative experience with Applied Behavior Analysis in a direct service, training, or school-based setting; and/or experience working with children or the special needs population under age 22
• Valid driver's license
• Ability and willingness to provide hands-on personal care
• Strong organizational skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

The Behavior Technician will be required to occasionally lift children, materials, or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may also be necessary.
