Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi Inc. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
  • Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments from trucks and back-hauls.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
  • Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
  • Provide input to warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
  • Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Act and decide independently within delegated areas of responsibility.
  • Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
  • Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
  • Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
  • Operate equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.
  • Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
  • Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
