Job Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Smartlogix.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Execute and maintain automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) process.
  • Identify and document test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality.
  • Research and recommend appropriate automation tools and frameworks for different projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and software quality.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in technical leadership and team management in software.
  • Coursework or certification in software testing or quality assurance are advantageous.
  • Experience in development projects or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (master's degree preferred).
  • Advanced skills in project coordination and Agile methodologies (Scrum certification is a plus).
  • Solid knowledge of programming languages, API integration, and web development.
