Autonomous Vehicle Energy Management Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy and Range Attribute Engineer to lead our energy management efforts for our fully autonomous vehicles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing energy strategies to optimize driving range and reduce energy consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of energy management strategies for our autonomous vehicles, including sub-system operation points, energy saving features, thermal integration, and driving cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate energy efficient solutions and integrate energy models into our simulation environment.
• Develop and communicate technical requirements to various subsystems and teams.
• Monitor and adapt energy roadmaps as the company evolves to provide robotaxi service.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
• 15+ years of solid experience in vehicle energy management.
• Experience in energy simulation and testing.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $307,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and long-term disability insurance.
