Threat Intel Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Threat Intel Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity unit, you will play a critical role in enhancing our Threat and Fraud Intelligence program.

• Enhance the Threat and Fraud Intelligence program by gathering data from diverse sources, analyzing it effectively, and disseminating it into actionable tasks to improve the overall security posture.
• Provide analysis of new and emerging threats, including malware outbreaks and zero-day vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct threat assessments on new systems or applications, ensuring seamless integration and minimizing potential vulnerabilities.
• Proactively search for signs of malicious activities within the organization's network and systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations.
• Support team activities during incident response, working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve technical and procedural issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Three years of relevant experience in threat intelligence analysis and assessments, threat reporting, fraud intelligence, and the use of TIPs.
• Strong technical acumen, with knowledge of Cyber Security, Information Security, and Information Technology concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to write technical instructions using programs and technology, with a robust knowledge of applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
