Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team at Hotel El Convento. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all banquet events, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of banquet areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Manage all financial and administrative duties related to banquet events, including invoicing and reporting.
  • Enforce strict sanitation and cleanliness practices for food handling and general maintenance of event and storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and local laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a professional image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to complaints and turning dissatisfied guests into return guests.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, presentation, and service standards.
  • Manage multiple activities simultaneously and recommend solutions to situations.
  • Be prepared to answer guest questions about events in a direct and concise manner.
