Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team at Weil Foot & Ankle Institute. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records
  • Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam
  • Sterilize instruments and set up in-office procedure trays
  • Manage medical supplies and materials
  • Perform administrative tasks and become cross-trained on front desk responsibilities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Medical Assistant certification with 2 years in a healthcare position preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
  • Good communication and strong customer service skills
  • Self-directed and willing to take initiative
  • Patient-focused
  • Proven ability to prioritize and organize
  • Committed to continuous performance improvement
Work Environment

This role will be assigned to cover a geographic area, and local travel may be required to locations within your assigned region. You must have reliable transportation and be able to travel from site to site as assigned.
