Job Title: Physical Therapist Specialist
About the Role:Clinical Medical Service seeks a highly skilled and licensed physical therapist to administer intermittent physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients on an intermittent basis, following physician orders and plan of care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and provide treatment as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
- Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited physical therapist curriculum.
- Current licensure in the state of Puerto Rico.
- At least 6 months of experience in physical therapy.
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Professional Register, Vaccines Record for HepA, Varicela, Flu, and Covid 19, BSLS/CPR, Law 300, Particle Test, Health Certificate, Good Conduct Certificate, Valid Driver's license.
