We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team at PharmScript. As a key member of our Data Entry department, you will be responsible for accurately processing medication orders into our pharmacy operating system.
Responsibilities- Enter and process medication orders via our pharmacy's operating system
- Handle hand-written Physician Order Sheets and State Prescription Blanks
- Process electronic prescriptions, reorder requests, and phone orders
- Ensure all tasks and duties are completed in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and company policies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous data entry experience preferred
- 1 year or more of long-term, retail pharmacy, or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- National certification as a pharmacy technician is preferred
