Pharmacy Technician IV Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician IV to join our team at Specialty Rx, a leading Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Complete IV order entry and refills into the computer system for staff pharmacist review.
  2. Generate accurate labels for dispensing.
  3. Serve as a liaison between the Pharmacy and client facilities to improve customer service and client satisfaction.
  4. Analyze and resolve client IV complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
  5. Prepare compounded sterile admixtures and no-admixtures products using aseptic technique.
  6. Maintain proper documentation, logs, and reports to comply with Company policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain inventory and ensure appropriate storage of IV supplies.

**Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certificate, a plus.
  • Knowledge of IV products and compounding procedures.
  • Knowledge of proper gowning procedure and aseptic technique.
  • Strong customer service skills.
