We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Transportation Engineer to join our team at Stantec Inc. in Maryland. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of roadway, trail, and transit projects in urban and rural settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform geometric design for roadways and highways
- Model projects in MicroStation using the latest software
- Prepare construction documents and cost estimates
- Collect data and observe projects under construction
- Collaborate with a team of experts to meet client expectations
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Transportation Engineering
- Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer / Microstation
- Experience with legacy products such as Geopak and InRoads preferred but not required
- Knowledgeable of AASHTO design manuals and guides
- Experience designing pedestrian and/or bike facilities
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer's License
