Pharmacy Technician Role

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital, a United Surgical Partners facility, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team on a PRN basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medications, controlled substances, and pharmaceutical supplies to patient care areas.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of Controlled Substances Administration Log.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of medication carts and exchange medication cubicles as scheduled.
  • Unit-dose package bulk medications and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Fill drug replacement orders and maintain par levels in various departments.
  • Return drug credits to pharmacy stock and assist with discharges and credits.
  • Stock shelves and identify expiring medications for ordering.
  • Participate in maintaining pharmacy computer system knowledge and performing related duties.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician License
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and hospital experience
