Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer and Tech Lead to join our team at Bath & Body Works. This role will be responsible for leading initiatives to completion within the infrastructure organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in steady-state support and continuous improvement of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT application teams, information security teams, and infrastructure teams to architect and produce detailed designs of network infrastructure for new applications and modifications of existing applications.
  • Execute the implementation of all components of network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on issue resolution.
  • Ensure documentation is updated and complete for production support teams and activities, building from scratch where required.
  • Guide level one firewall and load balancer support teams in issue resolution when escalated.
  • Create or modify complex firewall rules (Palo Alto) or load balancer setups (F5, Azure) that exceed the capabilities of our level one support team or set the standard for ongoing rule setup.
  • Perform level one and two issue resolution for non-firewall network functions, such as LAN, WAN, wired, and wireless networks.
  • Perform administrative functions related to the function of or monitoring of network devices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in networking, firewall setup, and administration, load balancing.
  • Ability to independently resolve network, firewall, and load balancing issues or execute new setups once corporate standards are shared.
  • Ability to share knowledge with the intent to increase overall team knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to organize assignments, recognize when workload exceeds capacity, and request help.
  • Ability to articulate points of view or recommendations in written presentations or discussions in terms understandable by management and peers.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL (incident, problem, request) processes and willingness to learn Service Now and vendor partner tools/portals to execute those processes.
