Residential Property Manager Opportunity

Capilano Properties is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of residential properties. The ideal candidate will optimize occupancy rates, maintain property values, and create a positive living experience for tenants while ensuring compliance with local regulations and property owner objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the property within financial guidelines, including daily physical inspections and supervision of service, grounds, and custodial personnel.
  • Direct supervision of office staff and bookkeeping functions.
  • Final interviewing and hiring of property employees under the direction of the Regional Property Manager.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Leasing of the property, ensuring effective use of sales techniques and methods.
  • Respond to resident requests and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Generate various reports and implement a resident retention program.
  • Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience assisting a Property Manager at a multi-family community.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish.
