The OpportunityAs a Systems Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and debugging AGV systems at customer locations. This will involve working with various equipment, including chargers, I/O panels, operator interfaces, and peripheral devices. You will also be required to travel domestically (50%) and occasionally internationally to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Install and test AGV systems, ensuring they meet customer requirements
- Modify equipment and software as needed to optimize system performance
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues with system components
- Collaborate with other engineers on projects to ensure successful implementation
- Provide customer training and support
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics)
- 1+ years of experience with computer programming languages (JavaScript, C#, C++, Python, MATLAB, or Visual Basic)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a remote environment and travel as required
