We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Programmer Consultant to contribute to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and maintain a variety of SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and SQL scripts.
- Generate extracts of specific formatted data sets as requested.
- Assist in planning data or schema changes to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing data quality through sanity checks and other QA tools.
- Synchronize data between source, repository, and warehouse/datamart instances.
- Work with production backups for disaster recovery and support other environments.
- Be a resource for others to optimize queries, answer questions, and troubleshoot database-related concerns.
- Take ownership of reported data problems and work to ensure resolution of source data and occurrences.
- Propose creative and feasible alternatives when confronted with new problems.
- Assist in off-hours production support coverage with other members of on-call teams as needed.
- BS in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Sciences, or equivalent education.
- Minimum 4 years paid experience in software development (must be with SQL database) or 2 years in a database programming or DBA/scripting position.
