Financial Director

Company Overview
Fulcro Talent Acquisition is a leading provider of recruitment services for top talent in the industrial equipment industry. We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to lead our accounting team.

The Financial Director will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and success.

Global Closing Activities
Manage global closing activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, review transactions for proper accounting treatment, and related reporting including revenue recognition, general ledger, and reporting.

Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure deadlines are met in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensure proper evaluations, allocations, eliminations are applied appropriately, proactively drive efficiency through automation and streamlining accounting processes, design, implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

External Auditors and Strategic Initiatives
Manage monthly flux variance analysis, balance sheet review, and thorough understanding of accounts, serve as the main point of contact for external auditors related to the financial statement audit, provide pragmatic solutions and alternatives to challenging audit requests and inquiries, participate in key strategic initiatives and assist with other ad hoc projects, interact with senior executives regarding financial matters as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications
Candidate must be a CPA with experience in controllership, know the complete accounting cycle, the preparation of complete financial statements, including notes, and have directed an accounting department. Candidate should manage a staff of 8+ accounting professionals, possess education of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA certification preferred), have at least 10 years of experience in a financial leadership role, strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, strong leadership and team management abilities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and highly organized, bilingual Spanish & English.
