Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team at Firma de Reclutamiento en PR.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, review, and supervise all financial and accounting activities of the company.
  • Monitor and analyze the company's financial information to identify budget deviations and manage reports on results.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to improve operational efficiency and business profitability.
  • Coordinate the preparation and presentation of tax returns, and ensure compliance with local and federal tax obligations.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and related notes, using generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Valid CPA certification, preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, standards, and regulations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting roles, or a similar position.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks or Sage accounting systems.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).
