Job Responsibilities:

As a Nursing Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Observing and recording patient behavior
• Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Collecting patient health history
• Counseling and educating patients and their families on treatment plans
• Administering medication, changing wound dressings, and caring for other treatment options
• Reading and interpreting patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate
• Consulting with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
• Researching ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes
• Assisting doctors and other medical personnel by performing common patient care duties
• Providing and coordinating patient care
• Educating patients and the public about illnesses, diseases, and health conditions
• Working in nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and other medical facilities
• Supporting doctors and medical professionals by performing various health functions

Requirements:

To be successful as a Nursing Specialist at Psi, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Certified licensed nurse and active member of the Professional Nursing Organization
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written & verbal)
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Internet skills
• Knowledge of applicable Regulations (plus)
• Experience in occupational health and case management (preferred)
