Operations Captain Job Summary

Falck Northern California is seeking an experienced Operations Captain to oversee the daily operations of our emergency medical services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to our patients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of trust and teamwork within the organization
  • Serve as the first point of contact for daily operational issues
  • Work closely with the Communications Center and Fleet Department to ensure safe and efficient daily operations
  • Oversee and manage one of the following operational areas: Documentation, Fleet, Supplies, or others as assigned
  • Provide guidance and/or corrective action to subordinates as a supervisor
  • Act as a resource for all field employees and Captains, making decisions independently
  • Assist the General Manager with operational changes and the development of the quality assurance and improvement program
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated background of successful customer service experience
  • Driving record in compliance with Company policy regarding insurability
  • Must be an Alameda County Advanced Paramedic or be able to qualify as such within 30 days of employment
  • Desirable: One (1) year of experience in a leadership capacity within EMS and/or Three (3) years of work experience in a high-performance 911 EMS
