We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Laundry Attendant to join our team at La Quinta Inn & Suites, Mesa West. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all linens and treat any stains
  • Monitor laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements
  • Operate washing machines and follow manufacturer's instructions for adding cleaning chemicals
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and report any shortages to the general manager
  • Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to manufacturer's instructions

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly
  • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
  • 1+ years of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper, or similar position
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
