- Administer preventive care and medications, including immunizations and intravenous fluids
- Conduct physical examinations and assist in the treatment of diseases and injuries
- Supervise sanitation and safety conditions in the workplace
- Maintain patient treatment records and conduct research
As a Hospital Corpsman, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including medical treatment facilities, ships, and submarines. You will work alongside other medical professionals to provide medical care to our personnel and their families.
Training and AdvancementUpon completion of initial training, you will receive specialized training in areas such as emergency medical treatment, preventive care, and patient care. You will also have opportunities for advancement and professional growth within the Navy.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must be a US citizen and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You should also have good communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
