Job Title: Vascular Sonographer

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team in Park Ridge, Illinois. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Vascular Sonographer to perform a comprehensive array of sophisticated non-invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including vascular, abdominal, and small parts procedures.
  • Document patient history and medical information accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control standards and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound developments and advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Ultrasound.
  • Registered or Registry Eligible in Medical Sonography (RDMS) with Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular certifications.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
