Key Responsibilities- Coordinate inputs for consolidated US federal, state, and local income tax returns.
- Manage state and local tax notices, providing analysis and resolutions.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of tax ledger accounts.
- Manage sales and use tax compliance processes.
- Implement a global tax operating model and establish best practices.
- Document tax procedures and drive continuous improvements.
- Create and analyze tax models for optimal positions.
- Research tax-efficient restructurings and assist with global transfer pricing.
- Prepare internal reporting and build tax resource materials for Partners and Directors.
- Assist with global tracking of tax attributes and partner tax basis.
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting; advanced degree (e.g., Masters in Taxation, JD with tax focus) and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate and partnership taxation, with exposure to state and local, indirect, and international compliance issues.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and tax accounting for various entity types, broad understanding of international tax structuring and compliance.
- Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly, strong relationship and interpersonal skills, excellent writing, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
$90,000 - $110,000/year + bonus, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
