Quantum Technology Strategist

About the Role

At Applied Research Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantum Technology Strategist to lead our efforts in developing and implementing quantum technology solutions for critical national problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for quantum technology development and deployment
• Lead a team of researchers and engineers in the design and development of quantum computing and sensing systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum technology into existing systems and applications
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the quantum technology space
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and academia

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering with a focus on quantum computing or quantum algorithms
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the development and application of quantum technology
• Proven track record of leadership and collaboration in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
