Executive Chef

Remington Hotels is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, making it an excellent opportunity for skilled chefs looking to advance their careers.

As an Executive Chef at Remington Hotels, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. Your primary duties will include:

• Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menu plans that showcase our hotel's European style and ambiance, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Culinary Team Management: Direct, train, and monitor the performance of Line Cooks, ensuring that they have the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies to excel in their roles.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the requisitioning of supplies, including food, ingredients, and equipment, to ensure that we are always well-stocked and ready to meet the demands of our guests.
• Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our kitchen and dining areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

To be successful as an Executive Chef at Remington Hotels, you will need:

• 5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Line Cook or Executive Chef in a hotel or resort setting.
• Station Management Skills: The ability to work all stations on the line and manage a team of cooks to ensure seamless service.
• Food Handling Certification: Possession of a valid food handling certification and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of food safety.
• Strong Work Ethic: A proven track record of hard work, self-initiative, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
