**Job Summary**

Planet Depos is seeking a skilled Digital Court Reporter to join our team. As a Digital Court Reporter, you will be responsible for capturing audio and video testimony in depositions and other legal proceedings.


**Key Responsibilities**

• Set up and operate audio and video equipment in a professional and tidy manner

• Mix multiple audio tracks for proper level and monitor for interference on a portable audio interface

• Establish and actively monitor appropriate video framing consistent with legal videography norms

• Assist clients with various audio, video, and technology issues

• Maintain a high-level understanding of departmental policy, the legal field, and audio and video technology

• Track and log key legal events during legal proceedings

• Swear in deponents and faithfully capture their spoken testimony under oath

**Requirements**

• 2- or 4-year degree preferred

• Experience with A/V technologies and digital recording

• Professional appearance and experience dealing face-to-face with professional clients

• Ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances and operate on a changing schedule

• Reliable mode of transportation and ability to lift up to 50lbs
