Job Title: Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Tasty Burger Corporation. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast and friendly service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Serve alcohol responsibly, adhering to State, Local, and Store level laws and guidelines.
  • Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage offerings, ingredients, and menu modifications.
  • Complete assigned opening and closing side work, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist other Team Members as needed, communicating effectively with Management and guests.
  • Re-stock items and supplies, alerting Management to shortages.
  • Accurately and promptly prepare and tend to guests' payments.
  • Prepare Cash Out paperwork accurately and submit to the Manager on Duty for verification.
  • Communicate health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to Management.
  • Attend all informational meetings and perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Accurate arithmetic skills and a strong math aptitude.
  • Team-oriented outlook and ability to work collaboratively with others.

Working Conditions:

General food service environment, requiring standing for six or more hours, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and/or carrying during the work shift. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 40 lbs. during the work shift.

Knowledge of Burgers and Dogs, Describing beverage offerings, Obtaining and recognizing proper identification for purchase of alcoholic beverages, Serving wines, beers, and pitchers, Properly taking orders and entering into the computer, Ensuring correct information, Setting the pace of and directing the flow of service, Insuring that orders from different tables are taken in a staggered manner, Handling all payment methods, The cleanliness of the restaurant and constant maintenance throughout the evening.
