Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team at RCM Technologies, Inc. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for creating and updating electrical and transmission line design drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop complete design packages and lead a team of multidisciplined designers as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain electrical and transmission line design drawings using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop complete design packages.
  • Lead a team of multidisciplined designers as needed.
  • Coordinate project design activities with designers from other disciplines.
  • Participate in site visits and evaluations to gather information and verify designs.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a CAD drafter/designer.
  • Experience in preparing construction drawings.
  • Ability to create drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of National Standards and Codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and implement client CAD standards.
  • Ability to coordinate workload and work in a team environment.
