Job Description

The College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) at Arizona State University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Specialist to join our team on the Polytechnic Campus. As a key member of the CISA HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the human resource functions that drive the success of our college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the recruitment and hiring process for all positions in assigned CISA areas, ensuring compliance with university guidelines and processes.
  • Manage ASU Payroll for assigned college areas, ensuring accuracy of payroll information and timely payments.
  • Process leave requests and timesheet entries for employees on leave, and coordinate employee visa applications and renewal processes.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university-wide initiatives and meetings to represent human resource interests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, and students, responding to a diverse range of questions and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Five years of related administrative experience, or nine years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience in human resources practices, regulations, and standards, as well as experience working in an HR higher education environment.
  • Proficiency in using software such as BrassRing, Interfolio, PeopleSoft Human Resources, Workday, Time and Attendance System (TAS), Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and Adobe Sign.
