Job Title: Senior Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Harbor Freight Tools. As a valued member of our sales team, you will be empowered to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to customers, promoting our wide range of tools and accessories.
  • Maintain a safe and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure an attractive and well-stocked store.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support store operations.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Preferred: 1 year experience in retail or customer service.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
  • Open availability with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
  • Physically able and willing to become certified to operate a forklift in accordance with our Injury and Illness Prevention Program.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $16.50 per hour, depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
  • Comprehensive and competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and 401(k) matching.
  • Eligible Associates can enroll in our company's 401(k) plan and accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year, including PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays.
  • Paid sick time up to 64 hours per year, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Respectful schedules during operating hours of 6am - 10pm.
