Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail Associate to join our team. As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. This includes making eye contact, smiling, and greeting all customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treating fellow associates with respect, and efficiently following all company best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card, and refund transactions.
  • Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, including expediting newly received merchandise to the sales floor.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a neat, clean, and organized store.
  • Understand and follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and loss prevention awareness.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates.
  • Basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
  • Ability to regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
What We Offer

Ross Stores, Inc. offers a competitive base pay range of $17.00-$17.50, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
