Bookkeeper Position

Job Description: Empower Human Resources is seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting and a minimum of three years' experience in accounting roles.

About the Role: As a Financial Auditor, you will be responsible for examining records and interviewing workers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. You will also prepare financial reports and review accounts for discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and canceled checks to confirm accuracy of records.
• Examine records and interview workers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a position with related duties in this area.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks and/or other accounting software skills.
