Jobleads-Us is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax support to our Private Equity Infrastructure Unit. This will include working closely with the Infrastructure tax team as well as the Business Unit on all tax related matters for existing and future Funds.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and review federal and state income tax returns, supporting documentation, and disclosures.
- Assist with technical review of transactions.
- Assist with tax law change analysis.
- Manage and review information related to VAT tax, and other foreign filings when applicable.
- Manage the indirect reporting process which includes collecting and working with outside vendor to vet withholding tax documents.
- Calculate withholding and provide information to infrastructure operations team.
- Provide answers to Investor questions promptly.
- Work with outside vendor to produce and report year end filing requirements (1042S).
- Assist in the Review of Fund tax provisions including monitoring state tax rates.
- State related accruals, and state inquiries and audits where applicable.
- Provide tax fee budgets to operations team as well as review and manage the payment of external fees.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- C.P.A. (Certified Public Accountant) or similar designation.
- 5+ years of tax experience with at least 5+ years dealing with corporate and partnership tax or relevant issues.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
