Sales Performance Expert

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sales Performance Expert to join our team in the North-Metro-South Region. As a Senior Territory Representative, you will be responsible for executing brand strategy and tactics in field, sales performance, effectively managing assigned territory and targeted accounts, building strong customer relationships and customer needs-solving capability to maximize short and long-term sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. to meet or exceed on those objectives.
- Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
- Proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, customer expectations, and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers.
- Develop and execute call plans that achieve set call metrics and optimize coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Continuously build an understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical, and sales expertise to share with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.
- Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with health providers assigned and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related fields, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of success in selling and exceptional presentation skills.
- Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
- Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts quickly to all aspects of the selling approach.
- Operates effectively in a matrix environment.
- Leads by example; consistently displays positive behaviors and peer coaching through changing and challenging environments.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
Location:
This position requires continuous travel within Puerto Rico in the assigned region.
Additional Information:
This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. Note: No amount of pay is considered wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
