About the Role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting the Mission and Vision of Providence Health Center. As a member of our team, you will assist Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses in patient care tasks and unit-based activities within the assigned Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Participate in unit-based activities, such as quality improvement initiatives and patient education programs.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in acute, sub-acute, or skilled nursing facility.
- One (1) year Nursing Assistant experience in an acute hospital setting.
