**About the Role at El Comeback**

The Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This position supports business decision analysis and maintains compliance with local and federal regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with CFO:** Assist the CFO as a key member of the Management team, contributing to the execution of the financial strategy.
  • Financial Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all local and federal regulators, overseeing general ledger, financial accounts, cost controls, and financial and auditing functions.
  • Financial Analysis:** Analyze different business scenarios and their impact on El Comeback's finances.
  • Reporting:** Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports, managing the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of all business lines.
  • Regulatory Filings:** Monitor and maintain regulatory filings.

Requirements for Success:**

  • Education:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience:** 10+ years of relevant experience, including previous work in regulated industries, complex financial transactions, and financial statements.
  • Skills:** Strong technical accounting skills, GAAP accounting knowledge, understanding of SEC rules and regulations, budget experience, and supervisory experience.
  • Languages:** Fully bilingual.
