We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team at Old Bridge Dental. The ideal candidate will be a support person to all staff members and patients in the office, answering phones, handling patient inquiries, making appointments, and assisting with treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors through greeting, scheduling appointments, and assisting with inquiries and phone calls.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere by acknowledging, smiling, and greeting patients upon arrival and dismissal.
- Demonstrate responsiveness by promptly addressing patient questions and concerns in alignment with DCA Policies.
- Answer telephones, schedule appointments, and maintain appointment books.
- Confirm appointments and follow up on no shows/cancellations.
- Register patients on sign-in sheets, post charges and payments to patient accounts, and check voice-mail daily.
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
- Previous experience in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office is highly valued.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
- Experience answering telephones and demonstrating exceptional customer service skills is essential.
