About the Role

The Greater Los Angeles Project Management Market Director is responsible for overseeing local markets under Project Management to support CBRE's Advisory and Transaction business. This involves financial, operational, and team execution and performance, as well as acquiring and managing highly visible construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for financial performance of the Greater Los Angeles market, program, and client accounts, including budgeting, actual results, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Interacts regularly with clients to ensure goals and objectives are established and achieved, and develops and implements action plans to correct variances.
  • Manages and leads project management staff in the market, ensuring thorough understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Directs all phases of project management, including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closeout phases of the project.
  • Develops new business growth and maintains existing business relationships, responsible for business pursuits, integration with other CBRE business lines, and cross-selling our CBRE business in the assigned geographic market.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university and eight or more years of comprehensive experience in commercial real estate project management with direct experience in reviewing leases with a transaction mindset.
  • Ideal candidate will have direct P&L responsibility, managing teams and possess a Firm-first mindset intent on growing and developing the business, the platform, and people.
  • They should expect to leverage existing relationships to drive and acquire business with a background in the general contracting or architectural fields being highly preferred.
  • Experience in leading a diverse workforce including project management, operations, sales, and finance and brokerage teams.
