Responsibilities:
We are looking for a seasoned OR Nurse Leader to join us at our beautiful Arizona General campuses in the Phoenix suburbs of Mesa and Laveen. Reporting to our CNO, you will direct the provision of nursing care in the surgical and procedural areas of these facilities while maintaining standards of patient care. Assist with strategy and growth of various service lines. Assist in the training and development of new and existing staff members. Create and maintain an environment that is conducive to continuous learning. Coordinate the activities of the units for each shift, and direct, organize and assign work to the nursing staff.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities: Directs the daily operations of pre-op testing, SDS, surgery, PACU, Sterile Processing, IR and GI procedures. Responsible for the overall quality of care provided by the nursing personnel. Advises medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service and operating room growth strategies. Responsible for physician and staff engagement. Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Monitors the operations of the nursing staff and ensures compliance with regulations on organizational and governmental standards and practices. Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews. Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience: BSN required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration strongly preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and two (2) years of leadership experience. Minimum Licensure: Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS), other credentials or modules may be required. Preferred: Surgical experience in an acute hospital / inpatient setting is strongly desired. Familiarity with robotics and IR services. Experience with Google Workspace.
