Tax Consultant

Job Title: Tax Consultant Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join a tax accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing excellent client service, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Duties:
Meet with clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Accurately prepare and review Puerto Rico and Federal tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts.
Prepare and review sales tax returns and quarterly tax returns.
Conduct tax planning and projections.
Research complex technical tax issues.
Resolve notices from Hacienda and the IRS.
Perform bookkeeping tasks.
Maintain tax compliance calendars.
Adhere to strict deadlines.
Train and develop staff accountants.
Requisitos:
Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related business field.
2+ years of professional tax experience.
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Exceptional client service skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
