Sales Assistant I

Location: This position will work on-site on a regional office located in PR-SAN JUAN, 330 CALLE SAN LUIS.

Schedule: This position will work full-time. Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Sales Assistant I is responsible for general administrative support to Group or Individual sales force (i.e., typing, filing, faxing, and mailing).

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Types, files, faxes, provides phone support and processes mail. Prepares and logs proposals. Maintains supplies. Researches and resolves routine sales, claims and benefit issues. Assembles and distributes open enrollment packets. Gathers, inputs, and tracks sales data. Generates sales reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or a GED equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in Business Administration or related field. Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish).

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
