Job Description:

Title: Design Engineer

Location: Aguadilla PR USA 00604

Duration: 06+ months (with possible extension).

Shift: ONSITE POSITION Day Shift.

Pay Rate: $50/hr.

Summary:

Top 3 skills: 3D modelling, understanding/translation of engineering blueprints and design optimization. Tools to know include but are not limited to a Priori, SEER-H, SEER-MFG.

Key Responsibilities

3D Modelling: Translate 2D concepts, engineering blueprints, or sketches into accurate 3D models and assemblies.
Design Optimisation: Evaluate designs for functionality, structural integrity, and manufacturability.
Drafting: Produce clear, comprehensive 2D manufacturing or construction drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
Use of tools for estimating purposes when 3D model design is not possible including but not limited to a Priori, SEER-H, SEER-MFG.

YOU MUST HAVE

3+ years’ experience in engineering, mechanical/electrical 3D design or should cost
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
