Lifeguard / Beach Safety (Deep Water)

Certified Lifeguard (DEEP Water) Pay: $70–$80 per scheduled operation San Juan/ area limitrophe Work Environment: Beach Club / Open Water Schedule: scheduled operation, weekends and holidays Position Summary Seeking a Primary Certified Lifeguard. This is an open-water position. The Primary Lifeguard is responsible for guest safety, water surveillance, emergency response, and the complete setup and breakdown of the assigned lifeguard station and designated swimming area. The ideal candidate must be highly responsible, dependable, physically fit, comfortable making safety decisions without continuous supervision, and committed to maintaining a professional and safe environment for our guests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Continuously monitor guests. Perform deep-water and open-water rescues when necessary. Recognize swimmers in distress and respond immediately and appropriately.

Requisitos:

Requiring strong swimming ability and demonstrated capability to perform deep-water rescues. Current professional Lifeguard Certification required. Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required. Demonstrated ability to perform deep-water and open-water rescues required. Strong swimming ability and physical fitness. Open-water, beach, or ocean-rescue training/certification strongly preferred. Previous deep-water or open-water rescue experience strongly preferred. Ability to recognize swimmers in distress and respond immediately. Ability to work independently and make appropriate safety decisions. Strong situational awareness and emergency-response skills.
