Handyman/Painter

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Handyman/Painter to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, renovation, and painting tasks across residential and commercial properties. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, we want to hear from you Duties Perform residential and commercial painting using brush, roller, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray systems), ensuring smooth finishes and precise color matching based on visual color comparison and schematics. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, applying primer, and performing surface repairs such as drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and stucco work. Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment safely to complete projects at various heights and locations. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute renovation or remodeling tasks. Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting projects including coating application on structural elements like beams or walls. Install fixtures, trim carpentry components such as molding or framing, and perform basic carpentry tasks including framing and drywall finishing. Maintain safety regulations by adhering to protocols such as respiratory protection use and proper handling of chemicals or hazardous materials during industrial or renovation projects. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, renovation work, or general handyman services with a strong background in construction site environments. Skilled in various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, drywall finishing, industrial painting, and the use of paint sprayers (airless or conventional). Knowledge of construction painting surface preparation methods and coating application standards. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction sites; committed to safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection measures. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (such as saws or drills), scaffolding setup, ladder use, and masonry or concrete finishing techniques. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience with carpentry tasks like trim carpentry or fixture installation is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on remodeling or restoration projects. Pay Pay base may change, depending on experience from the candidate.
